Johns Hopkins Hospital and Outpatient Center Information
If you are lost or unsure of where you need to go within the Johns Hopkins Hospital or Outpatient Center buildings, please stop by one of the information desks at the following locations:
Outpatient Center
- Level 1 entrance directly across from garage
- Guest Services desk near elevators on Level 1
- Level 2 entrance across courtyard from Grille 601 cafeteria
- Level 2 elevators near entrance to Grille 601 cafeteria
- Level 1 corridor to the Hospital, across from subway entrance
Hospital
- Entrance to Dome Building
- Guest Services desk next to main entrance on Wolfe Street
Cafeterias & Restaurants
There are several cafeterias and a restaurant within the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center and Hospital buildings. In addition, the Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Canton and Little Italy neighborhoods--all a short subway or taxi ride from the hospital--have restaurants featuring a variety of international cuisines.
Outpatient Center
- Grille 601, on Level 2. Cold and hot foods served cafeteria style. Open Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Coffee Bar, on Level 1 near Pharmaquip Pharmacy. Coffees, muffins, pastries, light lunches, and soft drinks. Open Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Hospital
- Hospital Cafeteria, off the corridor leading from the main entrance on Wolfe Street. Cafeteria-style breakfast, lunch and dinner. Open every day, 6:15 a.m. to 8 p.m. for cafeteria; 24-hours for vending machines.
- Express Oasis, located inside the main corridor entrance to the Hospital Cafeteria. Gourmet beverages, fresh baked pastries and snacks. Open daily, 5:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.
- Tower Terrace Restaurant, located across from the Hospital Cafeteria off main corridor from Wolfe Street entrance. Table service of daily specials and gourmet desserts. Open Monday-Thursday for lunch & dinner, 11 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.; Friday for lunch until 2:45 p.m. and closed for dinner. Call 410-955-6858 for reservations.
Medical Bookstore
The Johns Hopkins Medical Bookstore, located at 1830 East Monument Street between Broadway and Wolfe Streets, has a wide selection of medical textbooks, CD-ROMs, desk items and Johns Hopkins souvenirs. Open Monday-Thursday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Tuesday-Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call 410-955-3931.
Florist
The Flower Cart, located in the Hospital's main lobby. Fresh, dried and silk flowers and plants. Delivery to patient rooms or wire service around the world are available. Open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Gift Shop
The Gift Shop, located in the Hospital's main lobby. Postcards, magazines, snacks, clothing, gifts and toys. Open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday-Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Coffee Bar, located on Level 1 of the Outpatient Center. Magazines, paperback books, cards, candies, and clothing. Open Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Bank & Automated Teller Machines
The MOST and Cirrus networks are available at Automated Teller Machines in the Hospital's main lobby near the Admitting Office, and in the Outpatient Center, Level 1, across from the Coffee Bar. A branch of Bank of America is located at 1800 East Monument Street, directly across from the north side of the hospital complex.
Postal Services
Stamp and change machines, a scale and mail receptacles are located in the Hospital's main lobby, across from the Gift Shop. Daily pickup by U.S. Postal Service.
Pharmacy
Pharmaquip Pharmacy, located on Level 1 of the Outpatient Center. Prescription and non-prescription drugs and supplies. Open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Call 410-955-3733 or have your prescription faxed to 410-614-3733.
Places of Worship
Johns Hopkins Hospital Department of Pastoral Care. Open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 410-955-5842. After hours, call 410-955-4331.

Friday Prayer (Islam) is held in Reed Hall, from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m.
Johns Hopkins International Prayer Room (Islam) is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
